Microcosm
Moving particles and scintillating waves create light, form and mass. Atoms make up the underlying crystalline structures that create a lattice. Woven together with moving electrical charges Geometry forms every structure and even life itself in the form of the Double Helix of DNA. The structure of DNA was first discovered and photographed by Rosalind Franklin, a woman,
who is rarely given credit. |
Underlying Structure
The great cathedrals of Europe were created using a drawing compass and a plumb line; no laser, no CAD programs. I am astounded. Simple circles build the Vesica Piscis, The Seed of Life, and Tetrahedrons and spirals which are the foundation for complex structures.

Macrocosm
In this series I explore forms some call Sacred Geometry. The polymath Pythagoras mapped the relationships of sound, color and light in his calculations and drawings. I visualize how light travels through layers of paint or wax
and bounces off the undermost layer to reflects back. Each layer influences what the viewer sees. |
